Welcome to the North Idaho
Community Resource
Directory - CD-ROM Version

This new CD-ROM version of the North Idaho Community Resource Directory continues to make information easily available to users. Included are a complete table of contents, a listing of agencies by county, a special listing of Crisis Agency Telephone Numbers, an alphabetical listing of agencies and their programs, and a comprehensive keyword index, as well as agency information forms and order forms for additional copies. Again this year, is a special Spanish language section, prepared in  colaboration with NIC Head Start's Latino Outreach Project.

Tips on Searching the Directory:

On the Index Page of the the CD-ROM Directory (this page), click on the "Agencies" button.

On the left frame, click the combo box arrow, then "Index".

The A-Z letters take you to the beginning of the index words starting with the letter chosen. (L for Legal Assistance, H for Health Care, etc.)

Then, clicking on a linked word will take you to the agency having that term in as part of its indexing. A small icon: indicates an additional program with the same indexing.

Or, if you know the agency you're looking for, you can click on "Contents" in the combo box, and you will get a Table of Contents with a list of Agencies and their first-level programs

The first time you click, on either an Agency or an Index word, there might be a slight delay, depending on the speed of your computer or connection. (The whole database of agencies needs to load the first time.)

The Board of Directors and Staff of Information & Referral would like to thank the agencies and communities for their participation and collaboration in compiling this Directory. It is only when we all share information and work together that such a task may be accomplished.

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of agency and program data as of the printing of this issue. However, we cannot be responsible for missing or incorrect data.

Our goal is to continually improve this document so that we may better serve the people of North Idaho. As people who use this information on a regular basis, your suggestions are very important.

Thank you!
