Our Vision
North Idaho Aids Coalition
envisions itself as the core agency in the community collaborating for
awareness, prevention, and care of HIV/AIDS.
Our Mission
A non-profit community service
organization providing services to those affected by HIV/AIDS. This service
organization provides financial, psycho-social, preventive, educational,
and spiritual assistance for individuals with the HIV infection, as well
as for their friends and families.
Our Values
All services are delivered
without regard to age, race, color, natonal origin, sex, sexual orientation,
or religious preference. The emphasis is on quality of life, client self-determination,
and dignity.
Our goals are to encourage:
- Wide spread availability
of the most current and accurate information regarding HIV/AIDS to all
Idahoans residing in the Northern Panhandle.
- Emotional, medical, and
financial support of individuals, families, and groups adversely affected
by HIV/AIDS.
- Just and compassionate public
policies regarding HIV/AIDS and people living with HIV/AIDS, including
adequate protections to prevent invasion of privacy, bigotry, homophobia,
and discrimination.
